The fear on Bruce's face when he hears what Tim has planned, the stress as he run toward his son, calling EVERY allies in the area to come save his son because he will be too late (again).

"The blood of the covenant is ticker than the water of the womb" is really prevalent in Batman. His family doesn't share blood, but they bleed together. And here, the message is even stronger because the enemy, the one that is responsible of the death of his adopted son he loves so much, is his uncle, the brother of his dear late mother.

Dick realizes I Ching was right and steps back to let Tim decide. But even as he does it, he doubts himself and Tim. If he doesn’t act he could lose Tim and he shouldn’t have trusted him. If he does act then he shows he doesn’t trust Tim. No winners.

dick stays to the side and Tim pours out the sample he was going to take. He collapses in dicks arms and apologizes. Dick tells him he never doubted him (Nightwing Vol. 2 #139)

I finally did it and wrote a One-shot about the Rookie!!!

How could he say that when he had just breathed the life back into her. How could he joke when the taste of her lips was still lingering on his and the dirt beneath his fingernails felt like glass shards digging holes into him.

Caveat: I have not watched the episode start to finish, but I did see all the clips and comments. I read them all and I fitfully slept on my thoughts last night.

That episode …... Everything just hurts now. Like after a car accident you didn’t see coming.

The true extent of your injuries, the deep bruises, strained muscles, the concussion or whiplash, the pain doesn’t always immediately show up until a few days later.

That’s where I am right now.

Evaluating my (their) injuries. They both are hurt.

The impact of their crash is felt by everyone around them (including us)

I’m no longer outwardly raging. Now I’m intensely sad for them.

‼️ Blair better keep her nefarious intentions FAR FAR away from Tim. I do not trust her for a second.

That said, I’m also weirdly excited for the action and ridiculousness of the next episode. (Who walks into a packed hospital waiting room without some sort of disguise and pulls a weapon out to publicly assassinate someone? A Rookie character, that’s who 🙄).

Also why is Nolan dressed like Tim? Looks like he’s wearing a variation of the outfit Eric wore during that group interview. Dressing like Tim/Eric won’t make me fangirl over you. Someone called the guy making a big bet with Smitty “Walmart Nolan”,

I think Nolan next episode is being made into a Walmart Tim - dress code wise anyway.
